It is with pride and pleasure that I welcome you to Brooklyn Primary!
Brooklyn is located on the east side of Baker City, serving approximately 300 students in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. In working with our young learners, our focus is social and emotional growth and development, paired with a strong and balanced academic foundation. Brooklyn students have a variety of opportunities every day to learn and grow their brains and bodies.
Brooklyn Primary has an exceptional Parent/Teacher Organization and dedicated school volunteers. It is our goal to ensure every family feels connected to their child’s classroom and our school. Families are welcome and encouraged to participate in classroom and school activities and events! We maintain strong communication with our families, and know that our children benefit from this positive partnership.
As elementary schools in Baker School District are organized into grade level buildings, Brooklyn is uniquely situated to welcome students from preschool and kindergarten who attended Baker Early Learning (BELC), and prepare them to transition to South Baker Intermediate (SBI) for 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. We work closely across all elementary schools to support students as they transition amongst buildings.
